Type of a scam Tech Support
They called me at work (a computer repair store) claiming to be from the Tech Department of Windows. They wanted to help me with my Windows problems. I attempted to get the name and address, but couldn’t get more information than the name "Parker" and that the building he’s in is in California. He had an Indian accent and there was a lot of background noise. The caller ID listed "Thompson E & D" This call was received at approximately 11:15am CST 3/15/16. He continued to try to instruct me to minimize my screen and get to my home screen on my computer. We have many customers bring these situations to our store. I hope you can help reduce the chances of their success.
