Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
They contact by text interested in buying your vehicle. They say they will meet your asking price, sight unseen. They then get your address and send you a check with extra funds for the "moving company". You are pressured to take out the moving funds the very minute the bank releases the funds and wire it to a specific person out of state. They will push you to use the WalMart money gram as WalMart does not track the transactions. Once the money is wired, your bank will find that the money is not really there, and they will then reverse the credit, and you are left without the funds.
