Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Mystery shopper they sent me a check for $2, 690 the check was actually wrote on an auto owners insurance account out of Lansing Michigan but the routing number on the check did not match the Bank of America that it was wrote on. The letter they sent with the check was from work intelligence job center from San Francisco California. The return address on the envelope was from Ontario Canada. So have three different things going on. they told me to deposit the check wait 24 hours and pull it out and then send this x amount of dollars here and keep this much for myself. But I immediately called the bank I knew it was a scam just beware.
