Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Computer messages states that I have a bill that must be paid or I will be sued by the doctor’s office. When I call the number back it answers Physicians Billing Office. It tells me it can find my account based on my phone number. I click on yes and it gave me account #418488 and says I owe $305 to Doctors Hospital. It says I can pay by phone and enter my credit card information or I can log on to www.ezmedinfo.com. When I logged on to the website the account number given is not long enough for their site. I am sure this is being used to scare older people and young people. Please hunt them down and get rid of this scam. Thank you.
