I wanted to purchase a King Charles Cavalier puppy from the website zonecitypawz.com. I sent a message through the contact me portal. I got an email response asking me a few questions that they explained would help them decide if my home would be a good fit for a puppy. I sent the man $850 through Western Union for this puppy. After several emails, text messages, and phone calls, I finally got a shipping date. I was sent a tracking number from Global Pets Airways that said I would receive my puppy, but the shipping was pending. I contacted the breeder again to let him (Mike Kay) know that I hadn’t gotten a response from the shipping company about the delivery time. He gave me a phone number (5092895636) to call. The company said they sent me an email explaining they couldn’t ship the puppy without insurance and money to cover an adequate crate. I explained there was nothing on the email so they said they’d resend it. When I clicked on it to reply to the original email, the email popped up. It said I needed to pay an extra $1550 for the insurance and crate. There was no mention on where to send the money. I asked for that information and received another email with the information to wire it through Western Union but the amount had been reduced to $850.00 which was to be totally refunded to me when they delivered the puppy. It was late at night so I didn’t send it. I decided to do some more checking. I paid $1.00 to be on Been Verified. I put in the breeders phone number and found several others who had been scammed.

I was looking for a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy-but since they are high in cost (Google says the price range between $1000.00 – $3500.00, I was dissappointed and was still looking for one with affordable price. When I typed "Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy adoption (or breeders in Los Angeles), this web address appeared and I contact them with my name and email via their website. Then the same night(I guess typical sellers don’t respond emails at night!), they sent me an email with all the "detailed info" about the cavalier puppy adoption. After responding back with my full name, address, and nearest airport, they asked me for payment of $850.00-which is impossible price to buy a purebred Cavalier puppy- via bank app, Zelle, and WesternUnion. They text me frequently, anwering all my questions (not responding me back with clear anwers), untill they finally got all my payment via Zelle with two different emails ([email protected], [email protected]) with this name- Vaneolla Shinwen. They were almost smart to send me 3-5 photos of the puppy I selected, after receiving all my money. And then I never got the puppy that I choose. Do not ever pay unless you see the puppy in person, and use credit card.
