I was looking into purchasing a ragdoll kitten because ours passed away and we love the breed. I found ‘ragdoll kittens for homes’ on Facebook with a kitten that resembled the one that passed. I messaged the person on fb messenger because she wouldn’t respond under the photos she had posted. She got my name, home address, phone number and email before I figured out it was a scam. Zonia logistics was the company that she was using to fly the kitten to me. The website looks real but the address is for a law firm in Ohio, no one answers the phone, and not one responds to the chat. I backed out of the purchase and today I received a message from another woman saying it was a scam and they took her money.

My husband and I bought a teacup Maltese puppy online from a Facebook post. We wired money to have the puppy delivered to our two boys for a Christmas present. Soon after we wired the money we got a email from Zonia Logistics (which the breeder said was the company they use to deliver the pets) asking for more money for shots and delivery. They said they were keeping our dog in Cleveland and we would not receive it if we did not pay. We have not received our puppy.

We bought a cat from a lady we only talked to through text and Facebook. This was for our kids Christmas. We sent her money through walmart and paid her for shipping. Then I get an email from zonia logistics saying to send them money through western union for insurance for delivery. The insurance would then be refunded to me in cash upon delivery. The lady, which was probably the same people at the shipping company, did get our money, but we didn’t send any to zonia logistics.
