I’m not sure what the scam is, but it seems suspicious. A number called to help me extend a warranty on my car. They asked for me state the year, make, and model, my zip code and State. It seemed fishy, but I wasn’t thinking fast on my feet. My state was their last question, and once they knew what it was they said "Your state doesn’t qualify" and hung up immediately.

Then says, " Hello, Hello, unfortunately i can not hear this caller so i will be disconnecting the call now/" then hung up

They start off by asking for your name and they know the make and model of your car. Some numbers you can call back and click an option to not be called again, but they still do. I answered one time and the guy told me that he’s not gonna stop harassing and calling me and he called me” a [censored]ing [censored] with an extra chromosome.”
