Hello,

I was trying to contact customer service department at Wayfair.

I got an email with my order tracking information and used the link therein to go to the web site.

Attached is a screen shot of the home page with link to the Customer service site that has the phone number I called connecting me to a scam artist site. He requested may name , address, phone number, credit card information of either my Master Card-credit/debit or Visa credit card. he then directed me to an automated system where a woman’s voice requested verification of all of the same personal information including the three digit security code…at that point I disconnected the call. It was definitely not the usual customer service procedure. [I should also add he had a distinctive accent and also stated I would get $100.00 gift card just for calling.]

I was able to locate the correct customer service phone number and reported the incodent to the customer service agent. She requested any screenshots and proceeded to report the issue to the Wayfair Co.. She said the call I experienced was not acceptable, was a scam and to never give out credit card information.

Also, I have 9 more screenshots that I can contribute upon your request.

I am hoping with all sincerity you find the scam group and put a stop to their activity ASAP.
