Our family recently lost our beloved cat of almost 16 years and wanted to get a family cat that could grow up with our kids. My husband had a Snowshoe when he was younger and loved him. I read up on them and how they make great family pets that are very affectionate and could even learn tricks. We contacted this business late in the day on April 19, 2020, and they contacted us back within half an hour saying the kitten was avaliable. The limited time half price and free shipping code should have been a red flag but I explained it away because of the tough times due to the quarantine. The website looks very professional and had many details I would look for from a breeder like testimonials, vaccination and vet check info, and even specifics on the diet they eat. Well, we sent the 750 dollars for the kitten via Zellle they requested On the morning of April 20, 2020. we received an email asking us to verify our address and the kitten would be shipped after a vet check saying it was safe to travel. We then got an official looking email with the shipping info and a tracking number. By 12:30 PM we received an email saying that the kitten did not have the proper safe shipping crate and we would need to send an additional 1250.00 to use one of their crates. This money was required for the kitten to be shipped. We would get the money back upon delivery. We knew we were scammed earlier when my husband called to talk to them and let them know about an error in our address but the request for this additional money confirmed it. Keep alert with these things and don’t let your guard down with these things. It can be costly and heartbreaking.
