1:01 pm Oct. 14 We received a call from our own number & my husbands name or it seemed that way. My son answered the phone & nobody answered back, he hung up after maybe 6 seconds. I have no idea who this was but looked on the internet to find out it’s a new scam. The article said to report it, so, I am. We don’t live in Texas, where this scam is known, we live in Indiana. I have no idea who it was or what they wanted, but, they should not have used our name or number for theirs on the caller ID though. I assume we were targeted for some type of scam. I don’t know if scammers can get info that way or not. Hoping whatever they wanted to do wasn’t successful!! Please contact me if there’s something they can obtain in this manner!!
