We received a call from someone claiming they were from NV Energy. They informed us that our electricity was going to shut off within the next 45 minutes if we did not make a payment. We were then transferred to a woman named Cindy claiming to be the manager. She told us that if we did not pay our electricity was going to shut off. When we offered to pay by credit card she said they could not accept it. She told us the only way to pay was through a Money Pak card that could be purchased at any Walgreen’s or CVS. Unfortunately it was too late when we realized it was a scam. When we called the company back Cindy answered and hung up the phone repeatedly when we tried to confront her. Be aware and make sure to call the number listed on the NV Energy bill or website!
