Type of a scam Government Grant
I received a call on my cell phone from "United States" phone number (999) 999-88 twice in one day, which now appears as "unknown" in my call log.
I answered the second call. I believe the woman told me I was selected to participate in a survey and I was qualified for many reasons, one of which I had not filed for bankruptcy in the last 6 months. At the end of the qualification’s list she asked, "Is this correct?" She was extremely hard to understand between her thick Middle Eastern accent and speed of speech. After I replied "ok, what?" she responded by repeating the same information. I replied, "Where are you located?" After a long pause she replied with a business name, Western something. Again she was hard to understand. My response to her was, "And where is that located?". Her reply, "Um." Pause….. Click! She disconnected.
