Got a call from a man who asked if I had purchased virus protection from a company in the UK the caller said they didn’t follow through with the contract so the company needs to reimburse me twice. He said they needed a credit card (didn’t give it) so asked to bring up the bank account on the computer. Caller got into the computer. Asked for whole number. Scammer gained access to the checking account. There was no money to withdraw.
