someone from windows refund department has called me several times a day for weeks. The message is automated and says that I will be billed $299. for windows support, press one to discontinue. I called them back and was told I was entitled to a refund because they were going out of business and was told they had to refund all their customers. They said the BBB is making them do this. Next I was told in order to get the refund, I had to be in front of my computer and they would send me a link. I told them, no thanks and hung up. I decided to call back and ask why I wouldn’t receive a refund check. I was told that their server has crashed and they cannot issue checks. I said, you’re a windows refund department how can you server crash. The person shuddered a little and said they cannot issue checks, so I hung up and decided to contact the BBB with this complaint about this scam.
